OxyRevo Apex36 Portable Hyperbaric Chamber

The Apex series exists for one reason: 1.5 ATA. That is the top of the soft-shell range and the pressure most home protocols and recovery clinics are built around. Most portable chambers on the market cap out at 1.3 or 1.4 ATA. The Apex36 holds a true 1.5 ATA, and steps down through 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2 ATA so you can start light and build as the routine becomes normal.

What the Apex36 adds over the Apex32 is width. The body is 36 inches across instead of 32, and that difference is far more obvious inside than it looks on a spec sheet. You can shift position, bend a knee, prop up on an elbow, or reach a water bottle without planning the move first. For anyone over six feet, broad through the shoulders, or put off by enclosed spaces, this is the chamber that turns HBOT from something you tolerate into something you do five days a week.

Entry is handled by a curved zipper that follows the line of the opening, so you can get in and out on your own without help. Inside there are seven large double-layered windows, a memory foam mattress running the full 90 inch length, and pressure gauges you can read from inside or outside. The system runs at 50 dB or less. Is the Apex36 difficult to assemble?

Medium difficulty. Plan 1 to 2 hours: lay out the chamber, fit the internal frame, connect the hoses, pressure test. Two people make positioning the frame easier. Every order includes a free Zoom setup call and a guided first session. On-site assembly is $250.

How much room do I need at home?

Plan for about 8 by 11 feet of clear, flat floor. The chamber occupies 90 by 36 inches, and you want roughly 3 feet of clearance at the entry end plus space alongside for the compressor and concentrator. Ceiling height is not a factor since the chamber lies flat.

What is the advantage of the Apex36 over other soft chambers?

Pressure first. Most soft chambers stop at 1.3 or 1.4 ATA, while the Apex series holds a true 1.5 ATA. If you want to work on a laptop during sessions or bring someone in with you, the Forward90 suits you better. If you plan to lie down and rest on your own, the Apex36 gives you the same 1.5 ATA for less money.

How many people fit inside?

One. The Apex36 is a single-occupant chamber, and the extra width is there to make one person's session more comfortable rather than to fit a second. I am over six feet tall. Will I fit?

Yes. The interior is 90 inches long, which is 7.5 feet, and 36 inches across. Tall and broad users are the single most common reason people move up from a 32 inch chamber to this one.
