Before getting my chamber, I would get winded easily going up stair steps. After being in it for one and a half hours, I went to a high school football game. Walked up thirty six steps not once but two times. Did not get winded by it. No I walked not fast just steady. So now I am using it daily for a hour and a half to two hours. So I am Thankful. Thank you Nick for your help."

OXYREVO Heal40 1.4 ATA Wheelchair Hyperbaric Chamber

Most soft chambers require you to get down on the floor and crawl in. For a lot of people, that is the entire reason they never start hyperbaric therapy or quit after a month. Bad knees, a replaced hip, a sore back, recent surgery, or just being a certain age makes lowering yourself to floor level and getting back up the hardest part of the session.

The Heal40 removes that step. It comes with a sturdy aluminum base and ramp, so a wheelchair rolls straight in and the user never has to transfer out of their own chair. If you are walking, you walk up the ramp, sit down, and that is it. You bring your own full-size office chair, whichever one you actually find comfortable, rather than being stuck with whatever seat the manufacturer bolted in. At 75 inches tall and 62 inches wide, there is real headroom and enough space beside you for a caregiver to help with the mask or stay through the session.

Pressure runs from 1.1 to 1.4 ATA, and we can build it to 1.5 ATA on request if your protocol calls for it. The chamber includes a 10L oxygen concentrator delivering 90 to 97% purity, dual PM2.5 air filters, four large double-layered windows, curved dual YKK zippers, and pressure displays inside and outside so a caregiver can monitor from either side. It runs at 50 dB or less. Every order comes with a free live setup call and a 2 year warranty.

What's Great About the Heal40 Wheelchair Hyperbaric Chamber

Four Large Windows

Four double-layered viewports keep the interior bright and let a caregiver see in clearly from outside.

10L Oxygen Concentrator

Included in every order, delivering 90 to 97% oxygen purity through the mask.

Quiet at 50 dB or Less

About the volume of a quiet refrigerator, so conversation with someone in the room is still easy.

Aluminum Ramp and Base

A sturdy aluminum base and gentle slope let a wheelchair roll straight in from floor level. No lip, no step, no lift.

No Transfer Needed

The user stays in their own wheelchair for the whole session, which removes the part of home therapy that usually needs two people.

Walk In and Sit Down

If you are on your feet, you walk up the ramp and sit. Nobody gets on the ground and nobody has to get back up.

Bring Your Own Chair

The Heal40 fits a full-size office chair of your choosing, so you sit in something you already know is comfortable for an hour.

Roomy Interior

At 75 inches tall, 62 inches wide and 67 inches long, you sit upright with headroom to spare and space beside you for a wheelchair or a caregiver.

Adjustable 1.1 to 1.4 ATA

Start at 1.1 ATA while a new user gets used to pressurizing, then build up. Available built to 1.5 ATA on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

What maintenance does it need?

Slightly more than the lying chambers, because of the base and ramp. The compressor air filter is replaced every 6 to 12 months with spares included. Wipe the interior dry after sessions and keep the curved zipper track clean. The item unique to this model: check the aluminum base and ramp fixings every few months and re-tighten if needed, since a wheelchair rolling over them repeatedly is a load the fabric chambers never see. Keep the ramp surface clean and dry so it does not become slippery. Keep the chamber out of direct sunlight.

Should I buy the Clinic Kit upgrade?

This is the one soft chamber where the answer is not automatic. The Home Version has three separate machines; the Clinic Version bundles them into one all-in-one unit for $800 more. The usual home logic is that separate machines give you redundancy, and that still holds. But the Heal40 is often bought for a care setting or for someone with mobility needs and a caregiver running the equipment. If a caregiver who is not technical is operating this daily, one unit with one switch is meaningfully easier than managing three, and that can be worth $800. If you are running it yourself, take the Home Version.

How long is the warranty?

2 years for home use on the chamber and included equipment, extendable by another 2 years for $1,000. Worth noting for this model: the aluminum base and ramp assembly is covered as part of the chamber, and because it is rigid rather than fabric it is the least likely part to give you trouble. The wear items remain the zippers and the compressor. If the Heal40 is going into daily use for someone with mobility needs, the extension is worth taking, because this is a chamber people rely on rather than use occasionally.

Is the Heal40 difficult to assemble?

This is the most involved chamber we sell. There is an aluminum base to build and level, a ramp to fit and secure, then the chamber to mount to it. Plan 2 to 3 hours with two people. A free Zoom setup call is included, but this is the one model where we genuinely recommend the $250 on-site assembly.

Does it get hot in the chamber?

It warms a few degrees over a session. The larger interior volume makes the temperature more stable than a narrow tube. The A water chiller air-conditioning add-on is available for hot climates or garage installations.

Can I bring a phone or tablet inside?

Yes. Sitting upright in a real chair makes reading, watching something, or working through the session much easier than lying flat. There is no outlet inside, so charge the device first.

Will it hurt my ears?

Rarely, and only if you pressurize too quickly. It feels like a plane taking off, and you clear it the same way: swallow, yawn, or pinch your nose and blow gently. Start at 1.1 ATA, which is the gentlest starting point in the OxyRevo range, and work up over the first week.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, for home use. If you do not already have one, we can connect you with a provider who can issue it in a few minutes.

What power does it need?

Standard 110V household outlets. The compressor and concentrator together draw a few hundred watts. Use separate outlets where you can, and keep them off a circuit already running a space heater or window air conditioner.

How much room do I need at home?

The chamber's footprint is about 67 by 62 inches, and you need clear run-up in front of the ramp, so plan for roughly 9 by 8 feet of clear floor.Check your ceiling.Unlike the lying chambers, height matters here: the chamber stands 75 inches tall and sits on a base, so a standard 8 foot ceiling is fine but a low basement may not be.

Why is it more expensive than the lying chambers?

You are paying for the aluminum base and ramp assembly and for a far larger structure. At 62 by 67 by 75 inches it encloses several times the volume of a 32 inch tube, and it has to hold pressure standing upright rather than lying down.

Can a caregiver get in with me?

There is room alongside for a caregiver to help with the mask and get the person settled. Most caregivers do that, then step out and monitor from outside through the windows and the external pressure display. The chamber is designed around one occupant plus assistance, not two full sessions at once.

Will my wheelchair fit?

The interior is 62 inches wide, 67 inches long and 75 inches tall, which accommodates standard manual and most powered wheelchairs. If you have an oversized or heavily customized chair, send us the dimensions before you order and we will confirm the fit.

What makes the Heal40 different from every other soft chamber?

The aluminum ramp. Every other soft chamber sits on the floor and you climb in at ground level. The Heal40 has a solid aluminum base with a slope, so a wheelchair rolls straight in, or a person on their feet simply walks up and sits down. It is the only chamber in the range where nobody has to get on the ground.

Do I have to be in a wheelchair to want this chamber?

No, and most buyers are not. The larger group is people who can walk fine but do not want to lower themselves to the floor and push themselves back up: bad knees, a replaced hip, back trouble, recovery from surgery, or simply being past the age where floor-level anything is appealing. If getting in and out is the part of HBOT you are dreading, this is the chamber that fixes it.

Does the user have to transfer out of their wheelchair?

No. They roll in and stay in their own chair for the whole session. That removes the transfer, which is usually the step that requires a second person or a lift.

What chair do I sit in if I am not using a wheelchair?

Your own. The Heal40 is sized for a full-size office chair, and you pick it. Most people bring in the desk chair they already like, since you are going to be in it for an hour. This is a real advantage over chambers with a fixed built-in seat you cannot change.
