We have owned a Mini Classic for over 10 years and use it every day, typically 2–3 times per day. All the water we drink and cook with comes from the Mini Classic. It has truly been one of the best investments we have ever made. Needless to say, a machine will not last forever, and over the years a few components required attention. I replaced the heater, control module, and also the timer a few years back. Each time, the instructions, shipping, and customer service were exceptional.
My background is in Engineering and Executive Management, and although I am now retired, I tend to be somewhat demanding at times. I am always impressed when I encounter superior service because it is so rare these days. This company is a true example of excellence.
Today I needed a grommet, or seal, because the metal container had begun leaking slightly. With constant use this is bound to happen eventually. I called Sue from the customer service department, who had assisted me in previous years. As always, she treated me courteously and efficiently. Instead of trying to sell me an expensive assembly or retrofit, the seal itself was cheaper than I would expect to find at a local hardware store, and the shipping was very reasonable. I decided to order four seals just to have extras on hand.
