For almost a year I’ve been diligently using a cheapo NIR light purchased from the big “A”. I give credit to this little 12x12 hard panel lamp for improved wound healing from a recent surgery as well as for overall improvement in my energy levels (NIR stimulates the mitochondria.)
However, this Thersage device is *so* much more convenient as it’s semi-flexible making it easier to use on various parts of the body. My original, cheapo plastic lamp actually appears brighter (probably due to the silver reflective material it’s made of) but I trust the specs on this Therasage and believe I will derive even more benefit from it. It arrived at my doorstep within a week of my purchase.
I love the timer function and the fact that I can run it off a small power pack, making the device very transportable. I use it often while seated at my desk. I appreciated the quick responses to my email inquiries from Nick prior to making my purchase; it’s reassuring to have contact with a *real* individual these days when purchasing online. I also appreciate the 1 year warranty….which I hope I never need to use.
With NIR light therapy all the rage these days, there’s a huge selection and wide price range of devices available to the consumers. But for a non-technical person, differentiating among all them is daunting. But after all the research I’ve done, I do believe the Thersage Tri-Lite is a very affordable and more-than adequate device to help with wound healing and mitochondrial stimulation.
At age 72 …15 months into remission from breast cancer…having gone through chemotherapy, a mastectomy, a year of post-chemotherapy infusions and reconstruction surgery…I actually feel better than I ever have. NIR is only one of my tools, but it’s one that I will use forever.
