Medium difficulty. Plan 1 to 2 hours to unroll the body, fit the frame, connect the hoses and pressure test it. A second pair of hands helps with the frame. Every order includes a free Zoom setup call and a guided first session. On-site assembly is $250.

Should I buy the Clinic Kit upgrade?

For home use, no. The Home Version ships with three separate machines: compressor, concentrator and filtration. The Clinic Version bundles them into one all-in-one unit for $800 more, which makes sense when staff are moving patients through all day and want a single unit to operate and reposition. At home the separate machines are actually the better setup, because a failure takes out one component instead of the whole system, and replacing one machine is cheaper than servicing an integrated unit. If you are buying the Elite36 because it is the sensible-value choice, the Home Version is consistent with that.

What maintenance does it need?

Day to day, the only routine item is the compressor filter, which needs replacing every 6 to 12 months, with spares included in your order.
