Is the Mini Mat exactly the same as the Pro, just smaller?

The technology of the 2 BioMats is the same. A common misconception is that the Mini is a “half size BioMat” and the Pro is a “full-size BioMat,” which implies a 2:1 ratio. In this respect, the comparison is inaccurate based on the amount of crystals in each. The Pro contains 10.5 lbs each of Amethyst and Tourmaline, whereas the Mini contains 3 lbs of Amethyst / Tourmaline. If the goal is to raise the core body temperature, i.e., thermotherapy, then the Mini is not an ideal solution, as you are only applying heat to ½ the body and fighting against the body’s natural inclination towards homeostasis.
